Mi è capitato di vedere la gara Gp3 a Spa che questo giovine neozelandese ha appena vinto, devo dire che mi ha impressionato non poco.
Curiosando nella sua ancora breve carriera emerge una competività finora mostruosa.
Lo scorso anno ha vinto la F.Masters tedesca facendo sue 12 gare su 18, 17 volte sul podio. Quest'anno ha finora vinto 9 gare su 12 (10 a podio) nella F3 tedesca, salta in Gp3 a Spa e vince subito.
Non male il ragazzo...

grande gara la scorsa settimana, davvero un esordio coi fiocchi per lui. poteva essere tripletta per la squadra se Bottas non avesse avuto problemi al motore ma certo l'arrivo di Stanaway al posto di Nunes è stato un colpo non da poco per il team. vittoria meritatissima e la scoperta di un pilota giovane che ha già molta grinta e testa! . -

vediamo se, con la fresca vittoria del titolo per LotusARt frazie al lavoro di Calado e Bottas (probabilmenterispettivamente verso la gp2 e il ruolo di terza guida ufficiale in f1 con williams), per Richie si apriranno le porte di un posto come prima guida presso la squadra francese. il ragazzo meriterebbe il salto di qualità e vederlo in gp3 per una stagione intera sarebbe interessante per poter tenere d'occhio la sua crescita e le sue capacità. . -

BMW prova Rast, Stanaway e Vernay
Proseguono i test della BMW M3. Il costruttore tedesco tornerà sul tracciato del Lausitzring con i team ufficiali Schnitzer, RBM e RMG. Ai piloti Augusto Farfus, Andy Priaulx, Jorg Muller e Dirk Werner, si aggiungeranno Renè Rast (Porsche Supercup), Richie Stanaway (fresco campione della F.3 tedesca) e Jean Karl Vernay (già tester Peugeot LMP).
intanto pare possa esserci per lui un passo da "pupillo"....vista la carriera di DiResta potrebbe essere una bella occasione sia per lui sia per Vernay. anche se qualche anno in monoposto magari in gp2 e gp3 e poi in f1 forse sarebbe meglio. DiResta è quasdi un caso unico di talento sbocciato e preso ins eria considerazione da mercedes dopo un campionato a ruote coperte.
intanto Richie disputerà la gara di Macau...... -

Rene Rast, Jean-Karl Vernay and Richie Stanaway all made their DTM test debuts for BMW at Lausitz earlier this week.
The trio said that they had enjoyed their first taste of the M3, which is built to the championship's new for 2012 technical regulations, and which was also driven by Andy Priaulx, Augusto Farfus, Jorg Muller and Dirk Werner.
"I really enjoyed the test," said Rast, who is on the verge of wrapping up his second straight Porsche Supercup title.
"It was a superb experience. I felt very comfortable in the team and learned a lot. In general I am happy with my performance. I think I did what was expected of me.
"The car is good-natured and fun to drive. The dynamics and powerful brakes, in particular, are a bit different to the cars I have driven in the past, but I was able to adapt quickly and keep pushing myself to the limit."
Vernay, the 2010 Indy Lights champion and Stanaway, the German Formula 3 champion, echoed Rast's sentiments.
"The car is amazing, it has so much grip and downforce," said Vernay. "I think that my lap times were okay, I was able to improve them as the test progressed. I had a great feeling for the car."
BMW's car will be driven publicly by Werner during the weekend of the DTM season finale at Hockenheim, and will be displayed alongside the new cars from rival manufacturers Mercedes and Audi.

anche secondo me il potenziale di Richie ènotevole.senza dubbio da tenere d'occhio.spero che arrivi in wsr e non passi in dtm come si diceva qualche tempo fa. in wsr potrebbe anche vincere il campionato secondo me....non mi sbilancio di solito ma qui il telento ènotevole davvero. .
